Yes, last Tuesday at 4.13am. I was abducted and rectally probed.

Life on Earth could have been seeded from space debris, but no one would ever know. People seem to have the misconception that so called extra-terrestial life will be bipedal humanoids; I think we'll be lucky to find space microbes in our section of the galaxy.
We have. In the UK we call them Chavs.

Edited by: Miss Anthropy on 05/07/2007 22:44:30 Edited by: Miss Anthropy on 05/07/2007 22:36:10 If alien life did come to this planet how would we deal with it? I mean, we can barely get along with each other. I think many parts of our planet would go into total anarchy if aliens discovered us or we discovered them. The fear of and general xenophobia would cloud all rational judgement.
When catastrophe hits Earth, man's first instinct is to loot from the weak or the dead, then to try and survive. Any genuine alien visitation would be (and should be) covered up by the government.
EDIT: OMG, I actually contributed something constructive to this thread. I feel... odd. I still think Elvis ate too many burgers.

As to aliens visiting earth, despite all the conspiracies with Area 51, alien probing, cow multilation, etc, I personally don't think we have been visited. Not to say we won't be in the future.
Thank you for the vivid and horrifying description of Elvis's death. I'll sleep much better now.
